Handling Validation Exceptions
When validation fails:
1. Review the specific
mismatch
2. Check the original
document
3. Determine the correct
value
4. Either:
● Correct the extracted
value if it's wrong
● Document the discrepancy if the loan
tape is wrong
● Accept the exception if it's an
acceptable variance
All exceptions are
tracked in your export files for audit purposes.
